Getting from A to B
The points on a line are labeled with letters. The letters used are beside each other in the alphabet. For example, if you have a line with two points and the first point is labeled A, then the second point is B. You can reference the line by putting the letters together and drawing a line over them or if the line has a small letter to the side of it.

Parallel Lines
Parallel lines never cross. Think about the double lines on a road in a no passing zone. Those lines always run right beside each other, but will never cross each other.

Perpendicular Lines
Perpendicular lines intersect to form a 90° like the one pictured. If you have two lines that intersect that do not form a 90° angle, then the lines *are not* perpendicular.

Intersecting Lines
Like perpendicular lines, intersecting lines can cross at any part of the line. Unlike perpendicular lines, intersecting lines do not form a 90° angle. Intersecting lines can form angles of varying degrees except 90°.
